County Galway Local Authorities being the designated Action Planning Authorities under Article 7 of the above regulations, have prepared a “Draft” Noise Action Plan for the sections of major roads N6, N17, N18 and R336 in their functional areas that experience a volume of traffic greater than 6 million vehicle passages per year. The plan will exclude noise from domestic activities, noise created by neighbours and noise at work places.
