Welcome to CARE (Northern Ireland) Ltd

We are an independent organisation founded in 1999 with the goal of providing high quality, flexible and responsive residential and therapeutic services to children and young people in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

We provide the following services:

Short, medium or long term residential care & therapeutic services for young people looked after/in care.

Residential respite care & therapeutic services for children and young people with autism and children and young people with severe learning disability and moderately challenging behaviour.

Outreach therapeutic support to children at risk of admission to care or placement breakdown.

We provide:

a 4 place childrens home (Tydavnet House) at Tydavnet, County Monaghan for males aged 8-17 years who are in care and who present with complex needs and challenging behaviours.

a 6 place respite home (Ashdale House) at Ballygawley, County Tyrone for children aged 7-17 years who have been diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum or who have severe learning disability and moderately challenging behaviour.

Our homes are supported by specialist therapeutic staff including an Art Therapist, Clinical Psychologist, Person Centred Planner and Outdoor Activity Co-ordinators.
